Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–11 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The fior di latte on our pizzas were rubbery and unpleasant. For $30+ neapolitan style pizzas, that is egregious. Unfortunately, because I got the double margherita which doubles the amount of cheese, I was doubly disappointed. Service made us feel unwelcome. We sat at the bar and our server made drinks in front of us for 15 minutes before speaking a word to us. She didn't serve us water until she took our order. She also didn't mention that the regular margherita pizzas were at a discount because the world cup game was happening. We only saw that after eating. We tipped 18% and I regret it. We felt we weren't welcome there, and that they only accommodated a specific clientele. When we arrived, we asked for bar seating to watch the world cup final while eating. The hostess asked if we had a reservation, we said no, and the manager who overheard said it's fine, and to give us the bar. The hostess didn't seem happy about that. As she was seating us, the hostess even made a remark that the bar seats we were taking were reserved, as if we need to quickly give them our money and get out. We left at halftime. Overall, very disappointing experience.

I don’t even like pizza but this was bomb. Calamari was great, too. And the tiramisu!! So so good. Really cute outdoor patio seating, great vibes! We finished *everything*

A real gem of a find in the neighborhood. Wonderful indoor and outdoor atmosphere, very nice service, and food like you’re in Italy. 🍤Pasta with shrimp was strong and the lemon heavy on the garlic but delicious. 🍅Pomodoro sauce was excellent. 🥩Short rib Ragu was rich, filling and delicious. Next time, we want to try the pizza!🍕 ➖… okay, so two weeks later we returned to try the pizza and neither of us liked it😕 I know the pizza is very popular here and highly recommended, but the first one we got was cold the second one came hot but still felt undercooked and was very doughy, ughhhh ➕On the positive side, I tried their salmon tricolor salad and it was absolutely delicious!! Next time though I will ask them to undercook the salmon🐟 Service was again very nice and charming.

**4.4/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele Hollywood: Naples Comes to LA with Style** Stepped into **L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele** on Highland Ave and immediately felt transported to Italy—elegant yet relaxed, with white subway tiles, warm wood accents, and that iconic neon “da Michele” sign glowing like the original Naples location since 1870 🍕🇮🇹. The place is a stunner: a lively **eatery and bar** up front with craft cocktails and a solid Italian wine list, plus a **great patio** out back strung with lights—perfect for Hollywood people-watching on a warm evening. The **host was nice** and welcoming, seating us quickly even on a busy Friday. Service stayed attentive without hovering, and the vibe is upscale-casual—great for dates or groups. Ordered the classic **Margherita pizza**, and it arrived quickly on the signature thin, leopard-spotted crust that’s soft in the center with just the right chew. The dough is fermented perfectly—light, airy, with subtle char from the wood oven. Fresh basil and creamy fior di latte were spot-on. Only deductions because the **sauce and cheese** felt a little **light** for my taste. Traditional Neapolitan style keeps toppings minimal (respect
